We are delighted to add a new beer to our core line-up! ‘Hamefarin’ is a pale ale, punctuated with floral and citrus flavours and a mild hop bitterness which ties it all together.

It will accompany 60° North Shetland Lager, Lerwick IPA, Tushkar Oatmeal Stout and Skipper’s Ticket Pale ale as part of our core beer range.

The beer name, ‘Hamefarin’ is Shetland’s word for a homecoming. Jonny, our Head Brewer, wanted to brew a beer that reminded Shetlanders of their home and could be enjoyed as a celebration when they do. “This light and sessionable hoppy beer is the perfect accompaniment to such an occasion. Made with Shetland heart for those whose hearts have never really left. A hamefarin is a celebration of Shetlanders returning home.”
